Putting A Limit On God

There are times when we put a limit on God & what he can do. We say “I don’t know what else I can do but I’ll pray for you.” Praying is THE best thing you can do for a person. Yes, money is good, lending a helping hand is also good, but when you pray God brings in reinforcements that we can’t even imagine. He does things for us that we could never even dream of if we put our faith & trust in him. As long as we have the faith of a mustard seed, we can move mountains.   He also doesn’t want us to worry. That’s where having faith & trust in the Lord comes in as well. If we worry, then we can’t have our faith & trust in the Lord. It also means that we are putting a limit on God. He made the entire universe in 6 days & rested on the 7th day! Why would you think for a second that he doesn’t have everything under control. Yes, bad things do happen to us. All the time. Love God & Love Each Other

Matt. 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.  These verses are very important & have a lot of meaning. God created us in his own image. He made us all unique & when we put ourselves down, I believe we’re putting the Lord down as well. We need to uplift ourselves & uplift each other. We also need to pray for one another.  This is where the 2nd great commandment comes in, we need to love our neighbor as ourself. Jesus is not just talking about our next door neighbor, he’s talking about everyone we come in contact with. Even the people we don’t know. Do not be unhappy, be happy!

Do you ever wonder why we put our happiness in someone else's hands? Ever wonder why we feel like if our husbands, wives, kids, moms and dads are unhappy we should be as well? WELL LISTEN UP PEOPLE! I have some good news for you! We can be happy ourselves! Don't worry about why so many are unhappy.. I'm not saying make your heart cold to others, negativity grows BUT so does happiness. Psalms 118:24 says, This is the day that which the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Show the world we as Christians should be happy, even when things go wrong. Keep an upbeat positive attitude! (I'm sharing this to myself as well, not just to others.) I have so much to be thankful for! I'm saved, my kids are healthy, my husband has a good job, but most of all Jesus is coming soon!
