Safety Necklace

 I call this my "safety" necklace. This is for women who don't want to carry a gun but want to feel protected. I bought a lanyard, attached a whistle to it along with a can of pepper spray. If you're in danger simply detach the pepper spray from its clip (the pink rectangle beside the whistle) & then use the whistle for help while holding the pepper spray. Feel free to share away! This is also going on my blog. (Even though it has a safety feature I would not recommend to have this around little kids. Common sense needs to be exercised.)

(3) heads of cabbage sliced thin (3) packages of Hillshire Farm Polska Kielbasa Sausages  Mix both together in crock pot, season with salt & crushed red pepper (to taste). Fill water to fill line, cover & cook for 20 min. Super delicious!

Peanut Butter Fudge

~ 3 cups granulated sugar ~ 5 oz. can evaporated milk ~ 3/4 cup butter ~ 7 oz. marshmallow creme ~ 10 oz. bag of Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips   Butter lightly a 13 x 9 inch baking dish, set aside. Bring the sugar, evaporated milk & butter to a boil on medium heat in a 4 qt. sauce pan stirring constantly. After it starts to boil, set a timer for 4 minutes. KEEP STIRRING, DO NOT STOP! When the 4 minutes is up, (or the candy thermometer reaches 235* F) take the pan off the burner, mix the marshmallow creme & peanut butter chips with the mixture until smooth. Pour into the buttered baking dish & set until cool.  *Cool completely before serving.* *Makes approx. 40 servings.* Enjoy!

Love God & Love Each Other

Matt. 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.  These verses are very important & have a lot of meaning. God created us in his own image. He made us all unique & when we put ourselves down, I believe we’re putting the Lord down as well. We need to uplift ourselves & uplift each other. We also need to pray for one another.  This is where the 2nd great commandment comes in, we need to love our neighbor as ourself. Jesus is not just talking about our next door neighbor, he’s talking about everyone we come in contact with. Even the people we don’t know.
